To experiment with the flow of water, but also with colours and photographing itself, I made some pictures in a photography studio with glasses and water. By releasing the water in different ways, you're able to get a lot of interesting water flows that can turn out beautifully on camera.
Sometimes it's even possible to find glasses that can be emphasized by the water. At the blue glass for example, I tried to follow the shape of the glass with the water, so that it would look like the water is shaping the glass instead of the other way around. By inspecting objects carefully you can see a lot of opportunities that you normally wouldn't immediately see.
This project has helped me to look at objects in a different way to see how I can make better and more complete compositions. I also had a lot of fun experimenting with doing this and seeing how a camera catches certain things different than our eyes.
